Ing. Adrián Karas, PhD., MBA
Software Solutions director
Ing. Adrián Karas, PhD., MBA is a graduate of engineering in the field of instrumentation, information, and automation technology and of doctoral studies in the field of automation and control at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
After completing his studies, he began his career at a multinational company, where for the first few years he worked on the development, implementation, and administration of information systems, technologies, and services. Then, in the years that followed, he ran larger organizational and project-related IT units at various levels of management in Slovakia, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.
He joined CertiCon a.s. in 2020 as Department Manager of the Medical Solutions Division and currently works at our company in the capacity of Director of the Software Solutions Division.
He spends his free time with his family – his wife and daughter – mainly embarking on days out together in the mountains and countryside, travelling, and exploring new places. As far as sports are concerned, he is actively engaged in endurance running, recreational hiking, cycling, and golf, and enjoys snowboarding in winter.
